Customer/IT Support Representative

Entry Level ASP.Net Developer

Customer/IT Support Representative

  • Receives requests for service via telephone, e-mail and ticketing system from end users
  • Works with Team Viewer and other tools to help identify and remedy issues
  • Analyzes, defines and researches the end user's problem, and implements/recommends solutions to resolve the issue
  • Provides appropriate escalation of support requests for expedited resolution
  • Identifies recurring problems/trends; notifies and works with the development team to implement solutions
  • Maintains confidentiality of all computer-based, internal and external information
  • Offers fresh new ideas and opinions that will benefit the company, the clients, and the industry
  • Trains customers and users (online & onsite) and goes on site to support clients during ‘go lives’ and application changeovers
  • Develops procedure documentation including short manuals and You Tube videos for new features or functions
  • Reports to Manager of Business Services


Entry Level ASP.Net Developer

  • Participate and contribute in Agile development meetings, scrums and iteration planning
  • Discuss, identify and prioritize tasks and requirements for programming
  • Establish and meet timelines and goals for user stories
  • Provide ideas, input, and feedback to Managers and Directors
  • Create and maintain high levels of code quality
  • Identify bugs and implement adequate solutions
  • Apply, design, and update documentation & schematics
  • Work in parallel with Programming, Administrator, and QA team members
  • Keep current with emerging technologies relating to software development

Customer/IT Support Representative

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate
  • Some IT customer support experience
  • Strong knowledge of software, PC hardware, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to take direction and follow procedures, prioritize and multitask, as well as work independently & cooperatively in a team environment
  • Possesses analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills

Entry Level ASP.Net Developer

  • A Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Have graduated from a post-secondary institution
  • University or college diploma in computer science or a related field
  • Not currently collecting EI benefits
  • Experience developing software within a team environment
  • Has worked with all or some of ASP.NET, MVC, C#, C++, Web API, Dev Express, Oracle, SQL, Visual Studio, Telerik
  • Knowledge of UI standards including HTML5
  • SQL and database knowledge
